What You’ll Do:
Hotel events are complex functions. Multiple teams from different departments overlap and collaborate to help pull them off. The Catering Convention Services Manager ensures there’s a smooth collaboration between associates to make sure any events or functions go off without a hitch!
Here are a few of the tasks you’ll be doing on a regular basis:
Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals
Where You’ve Been:
You have least 3-5 years in a Catering Sales Manger or Assistant Banquet Manager role and experience working in hotel sales. Additionally, you have at least 2 years’ experience working in food & beverage. Whether you're interacting with clients or your fellow associates, you’ll be working directly with people all the time. We’re looking for some who can communicate clearly in a positive and professional manner, has strong sales and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and can perform under pressure!
