Medical Assistant/Medical Reception

Located in Flint with a satellite location in Lapeer, you will be able to show off your skills in both front and back-office duties, which will give you valuable knowledge to grow in your career in the medical office setting.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:

Located in Flint with a satellite location in Lapeer, you will be able to show off your skills in both front and back-office duties, which will give you valuable knowledge to grow in your career in the medical office setting.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
- Wednesday is a half day in Flint and a half day in Lapeer.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorizations
- Greeting patients, rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- 1-2 years as a Medical Assistant
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Proficiency with basic computer programs and medical office software
