Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Moldmaker to join our team. The Moldmaker will be responsible for creating and repairing molds used in the production of various plastic components. This is a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize knowledge of tooling and plastics injection molding to fabricate and repair molds
- Operate hand tools, milling machines, and precision measuring instruments to create molds with high precision
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret CAD designs and specifications
- Perform machining tasks using SolidWorks or similar software
- Conduct regular maintenance on molds to ensure optimal performance

Skills:

- Proficiency in using hand tools for mold fabrication
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for mold design
- Ability to operate milling machines and other machining equipment effectively
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
