We are looking to hire a Communications Media Specialist Senior within PNC's Corporate Communications organization.
This position is primarily based in a PNC location in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

We currently are seeking a Communications Specialist Senior to join our Corporate Communications Administration team in office to support communication strategies that enhance PNC’s reputation. Responsibilities will include daily media tracking/reporting, creating and updating executive bios, content management support for pnc.com and monitoring/directing incoming communications received in the department’s mailboxes.
Must be able to proactively support Communication Senior Manager in a fast-paced corporate area. In addition, must be well organized, have an attention to detail, work independently, multi-task and exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment.
The successful candidate will preferably have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of corporate communications or related experience
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees
• Demonstrated research capabilities
• Manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to think and work independently
• Demonstrated organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
• Firm grasp of current affairs
• Advanced Excel
• Web content management

Job Description

• Designs, develops, produces and consults on a variety of internal and external communications.
• Plans, researches, and develops of content for increasingly complex communications initiatives.
• Identifies issues and opportunities, consults with organization on all aspects of communication, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.
• Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.
• Participates on project teams, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
• Compiles, prepares, and synthesizes communications data for management review.
