Pocosin Innovative Charter is Hiring an Academic Lab Facilitator Near Creswell, NC
Pocosin Innovative Charter is seeking to fill a new position to serve our middle school students grades 6-8.
This position, Academic Lab Facilitator, would be responsible for managing and coordinating the services of the Pocosin Academic Lab.
The purpose of the Pocosin Academic Lab is to allow students a place to work on assigned tasks from their core teachers and receive support on their work as needed.
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Student management while assigned to the academic lab
- Monitoring students at all times
- Ensure students are on task and working on assigned academic tasks
- Coordinate work that needs to be completed with the Middle School Core Academic Staff
- Support students with academic needs or through communication with the Middle School Core Academic Staff
- Maintain the academic lab as a space focused on learning, cleanliness, organization, inventory of resources, and
modeling responsible academic behaviors.
