Point Breeze Credit Union is currently seeking a Portfolio Administrator to join our Member Business Banking department!

Essential functions in the Portfolio Administrator role are:

  • Partner with lending officers to provide seamless transactions with our borrowers.
  • Keep detailed account of all new loan requests and necessary documentation during the processing of the credit request.
  • Order all third-party reports, including but not limited to, appraisals, environmental assessments, property inspections and flood certifications. Conduct thorough review of reports when received, prior to passing to the lending officer.
  • Establish relationship and line of communication with new and existing members for the ongoing collection of documentation for both new and existing loans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate annual reviews for all loans in the portfolio over a certain dollar amount.
  • Maintain updated and complete loan files with relevant financial information and memos to file, as necessary.
  • Coordinate and monitor covenant compliance for all loans.
  • Process payments and/or set up automatic transfers.
  • Handle phone and email communications in the department
  • Compile monthly reports, as necessary.
  • Adhere to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations as explained to me and as appropriate for my position.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the VP, Member Business Banking.

Qualifications


Qualifications for this role include:

  • (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program, (4) bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of similar or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent member service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal / written communication skills
  • Possess strong organizational, and problem solving skills
  • PC proficient, including Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe
