POSITION: Reference Librarian (Part-time) - Two (2) positions available

DEPARTMENT: University Library

REPORTS TO: Associate Library Director

Primary Function:
Position is responsible for providing reference services, library instruction, collection development, producing library material, and assisting in other library related projects.

This position provides scheduled reference hours & library instruction, electronic journal subscriptions maintenance, collection development, statistical analysis. Hours vary with some evening and weekends required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MLS from an ALA accredited program or enrolled in an MLS program
• Library research techniques
• Knowledge of library organization principles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of current reference and instruction tools
• Supervisory skills
• Knowledge of personal computers and electronic resources
