General Summary This hybrid role will support Pointwest Technologies Corp. as a Junior Business Analyst by participating in a functional and technical capacity in all phases of the project life cycle and ongoing support and maintenance of Pointwest's solutions. This person continuously gains an understanding of media supply chain and how systems are used to support their business workflows.
Responsibilities

• Learns new business domains and media supply chain processes
• Schedules and coordinates requirements gathering sessions
• Uses tools and techniques to elicit requirements for low to moderate-complexity projects
• Analyzes requirements, creates documents, and contributes to the software development lifecycle
• Participates in creating user stories, test plans, and test scripts
• Configures software to fulfill business needs
• Supports the onboarding and training of new users on the system
• Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures, and industry best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Good analytical and evaluative skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changes and multitask
• Good interpersonal and time management skills
• Comfortable working and collaborating with a large team
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Education & Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related fields
• 2 years of business analysis or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience defining user requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in statistics, data analysis, and reporting
• 1-2 years of experience in defining metadata, taxonomy, and related methodologies
