Polar Cooling Technologies is Hiring a Commercial HVAC Technician Near Fort Myers, FL
We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and play a key role in the start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position will involve occasional travel to various job sites, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
Responsibilities
- Startup Products: Initiate and oversee the startup process for commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot Products: Diagnose and resolve issues with commercial HVAC systems promptly and effectively, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain Quality of Products at Factory: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all commercial HVAC products leaving the factory meet our high standards of performance and reliability.
- Location: Travel to various job sites while also providing support and assistance at the factory when needed.
- Development of Service Department: Actively participate in the development and improvement of our service department.
- New Tech Training: Assist in the training and mentorship of new technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them develop the skills necessary for success in the field of commercial HVAC.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical training program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration principles, electrical components, and controls.
- EPA Universal Certification and relevant state licensing required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Highly motivated.
