Job Description: The Billing and Authorizations Specialist will manage billing and authorization processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance policies. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in handling insurance plans and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical claims and obtain prior authorizations.
• Verify insurance plans and benefits.
• Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and appeals.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone and in-office.
• Collaborate with clinical staff for accurate documentation.
• Generate and analyze billing reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and authorizations.
• Familiarity with insurance plans and benefits.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and billing software.
• Good customer service skills and office etiquette.
• Computer literate with both soft and hard skills.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus, but not required.
