About the Role

The Company is in need of a Vice President of Business Execution to lead the strategic planning and implementation of critical support functions, ensuring the successful execution of projects and initiatives in alignment with the company's goals and timelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations in various essential areas, including quality, safety, mission assurance, technical processes and systems, facilities and compliance, and procurement and supply chain. This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the aerospace or national security industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, and a proven track record of executing complex business strategies. The Vice President will also be tasked with general management duties, such as building and maintaining effective business relationships, developing and tracking department performance metrics, and managing the department budget.Applicants for the Vice President of Business Execution position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aerospace market, including industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Experience in commercial spaceflight and space station operations is a plus, as is knowledge of international aerospace markets and regulations.
