PolyCon Solutions is seeking a Mid or Senior Financial Analyst to support our Federal client with ​initiating, tracking, and monitoring fiscal implementation ​of operational and administrative projects. The candidate will provide financial management and analytical assistance to analyze, resolve, and track budgetary and other project and financial issues.

Responsibilities:

• Using Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) financial systems, including Delphi, PRISM, and REGIS, to ​process funding documents and validate planned and executed expenses related to the program. Including the reconciliation of expenditures in Delphi and REGIS.
• Providing weekly updates on expenditures, estimated costs, and validation of expenditures.
• Performing cost and price analyses.
• Developing independent government cost estimates (IGCEs).
• Developing and maintaining burn rate trackers.
• Developing funding projections, tracking funding, and preparing budget requests.
• Reviewing vendor invoices and making payment recommendations
• Drafting purchase requisitions (PRs).
• Coordinating with Program Managers and senior-level management regarding the status of funds, including research, planning, generating reports and process documentation, and providing advice.
• Producing MS Excel graphics for financial reporting purposes, using tools such as VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables.
• Assists ​with tracking and monitoring monthly financial data for FAA managers, including planned expenses.
• Developing plans, timelines, cost/resource estimates, tracking action items and their resolution, and updating project/program plans and documentation

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with budget and financial management and analysis required.
• Intermediate or advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills, including VLOOKUP formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Prior experience supporting the FAA or another federal agency.
• Demonstrated experience with FAA financial systems PRISM and Delphi.
• Experience drafting IGCEs and PRs.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with the financial system REGIS.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors' Degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Travel:

• 0-10%
