As a product designer, your role will be to create wonderful experiences that unify user needs and business outcomes. You will be responsible for creating clear, easy to use, and delightful product experiences that help our customers and build trust over time. You will be working across the entire customer journey, from potential customers first learning about Pomelo to returning customers who rely on us for their money transfer needs. You will be adept at developing designs that are guided by customer insights and data, whether they be qualitative research or experiment results.
This is an individual contributor role that reports directly to the VP of Product and will work closely with our Lead Product Designer. As the company’s second product designer, you will have an active role in helping to build and shape Pomelo’s design culture and processes.
Although your primary responsibility is product design, we want you to be a voice for all design at Pomelo, including marketing- and brand-related design. You will work with other teams throughout the company, acting as a trusted partner to counterparts in product management, engineering, growth, marketing, and analytics, among others.
