RN Wound Care Specialist, Certified

Pomeroy Living wants you to join our family! Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is GROWING and looking to add a dynamic Certified Wound Care Nurse (RN) to our team. The position is full-time, working 8 hours on day shift. The position may be required to work off shift/weekend hours and will be placed in the on-call rotation.

Job Duties

• Perform treatments on stage 2, 3, 4, deep tissue pressure injuries, surgical sites and vacuum assisted skin closure.
• Assess the unique needs of each resident to determine the appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the wound care team on a regular basis to assess the risk factors and documentations of clinical unavoidable wounds.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new nurses on the wound and skin care program.

Qualifications:

• Completed a nursing degree RN from an accredited nursing program
• Prior experience with wound care program or any wound care certification
• Must have a current nursing license in the state of Michigan
