Essential Job Duties :

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms, dining rooms, offices and hallways following infection control procedures and established policies.
• Uses chemicals only as directed and in an approved, economical manner.
• Uses safety considerations at all times when performing duties.
• Performs annual cleaning of apartments. Climbs ladder up to six feet high, as necessary.
• Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
• Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.

Other Duties :* Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition. * Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
• Performs laundry duties on an as needed basis, including residential and health care laundry.
• May assist in trash removal as needed.
• Performs cleaning duties on the exterior of building, such as windows, as assigned.
• Assists marketing department by cleaning vacant apartments and maintaining for resale.
• Completes final cleaning between move-ins.

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required. * Read, write and speak English.
