Pool Builders Supply of the Carolinas, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Seasonal Warehouse Associate
Our Seasonal Warehouse Associates are an important part to distributing our products. The Warehouse Associate will properly and safely stock our materials in our warehouse, pull inventory for customer pick-ups, use a forklift to unload inventory from incoming delivery trucks and load our trucks for jobsite deliveries. You will ensure accurate counts of inventory as it comes in and goes out, rotate stock, and properly handle any damaged materials. Be part of a team because we have a “team-first” attitude. *Seasonal warehouse role. This full-time position will focus on warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping products, loading/unloading trucks, and may have some counter duties as well (if needed.) The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. Duties: Building/maintaining relationships with customers, providing service by taking orders pulling merchandise and billing appropriately Entering customer orders and pulling orders accurately into our order processing system Inspect products for defects and damages Order pulling/picking/staging Replenishment/shipping/receiving Staging orders for delivery and loading company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc. while performing daily duties and using company equipment Other related duties as assigned Requirements: Basic computer knowledge, Internet use Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred. Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified. Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
