Poolsure, an Aquasol Company is searching for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Houston, TX. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer invoices into the B2B platforms. This individual should have strong Excel skills and the ability to work with large sets of data while maintaining accuracy. Duties/Responsibilities
Accurately input and maintain invoices into B2B platforms
Verify the accuracy of data and make any necessary corrections
Perform B2B Audits
Assist with case management in Salesforce
Provide assistance with phone coverage
Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
Creates invoices according to company practices
Submits invoices to customers
Maintain and updates customer records, including name or address changes, invoice delivery preferences, or mailing attentions
Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Set up, coordinate, liaise with B2B platforms to ensure submissions are correct and complete
Processes physical checks received in-office for daily deposit and cash postings
Coordinates with B2B customer groups on short-paid and past-due transactions
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication skills
Works well in both a team and individual environment
Proficient in English, Spanish-speaking a plus
Customer service orientated
