WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate Distribution Operations: Oversee the distribution process, including dock appointments and performance for efficient and optimized operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels relative to capacity and coordinate with inventory team members to ensure adequate storage availability.
- Order Processing: Oversee POS orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment; and collaborate with marketing and warehouse teams to address any order-related issues.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation for shipments, gland manage shipping documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the warehouse, transportation providers, and internal departments; and provide updates on order status and resolve any distribution-related inquiries.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution activities; and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Problem Resolution: Identify any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or deliveries; communicate to the Supervisor and leadership team; and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions moving forward.
- Compliance: Ensure all distribution activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify and drive cost savings at our 3PL partner facilities and freight costs.
- Working knowledge of 3PL warehouse operations and POS management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, communicate, and organize multiple priorities autonomously.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports and daily dashboards.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution management.
- Experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management preferred.
- Experience in the Food and Beverage industry preferred.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Shopify, OMS, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 10% travel requirements to visit warehouses and for team/company meetings
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirement.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
COMPENSATION: Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $60,000- $70,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
