Poquoson City Public Schools is Hiring an Assistant Superintendent for Operations Near Yorktown, VA
TITLE: ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR OPERATIONS
This position is __X__ exempt or _____ non-exempt
Primary FunctionThe Assistant Superintendent for Operations is responsible for issues related to human resources, title IX compliance, instructional and information technology, maintenance, athletics, school facilities, property, liability and workers compensation insurance to include risk management, transportation, safety, police department liaison, FOIA requests, student discipline, parent concerns, custodial services, and food services. Additionally the Assistant Superintendent is tasked with areas related to the daily operation of the schools such as calendar planning and any other necessary daily functions.
Minimum QualificationsHolds a postgraduate professional license in school administration. Has at least five years’ experience in organizational management, or school or business administration. Central Office leadership experience preferred. Building level experience as principal preferred. Doctorate degree preferred.
Competitive Salary based on expereince.
