Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Police Officer at the Port Arthur Independent School District. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the district by enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, conducting criminal investigations, and collecting evidence. The Police Officer will also collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Police Officer or in law enforcement
  • Knowledge of criminal investigations and evidence collection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Physical fitness and stamina
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Additional education and certifications in law enforcement are desirable)
  • Day Shift w/weekends off
  • Salary $60,840 to $85,800
