Port City Rents is seeking an outgoing ambitious person to join our team in a full-time Insides Sales / Rental Equipment Coordinator position.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Manage customer relationships in a consistent and professional manner.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly equipment rentals.
• Assist customers walking into the branch and calling on the phone.
• Provide expert advice and solutions based on individual customer needs.
• Close rental deals from inbound inquiries and other leads
• Negotiate rates on equipment rentals utilizing pricing policies and guidelines.
• Support our store manager and outside sales team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of construction or similar industry equipment
• Three years of construction experience is preferred.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Friendly, upbeat, and positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for periods of time; and reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds.

Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 base salary plus commission.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
