The Portage-Geauga County Juvenile Detention Center is seeking a full-time maintenance worker responsible for maintaining the facility and grounds throughout various on-site locations. Maintains an
on-call 24-hour status for emergencies. Preferred knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical procedures.
Regularly Assigned Duties To Include

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by providing regular inspection and general maintenance to ensure proper operation of all safety and security devices within the facility.
• Performance of custodial and housekeeping tasks.
• Perform various maintenance, including general electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Cut and trim lawns, pull weeds, trim hedges.
• Remove snow; salt parking lots and sidewalks.
• Painting.
