The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Attorney who is passionate about our legal practice area and is eager to learn from one of the best in the field. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career under the mentorship of our senior attorney and experienced legal team, in a firm renowned for its expertise and client service.

Key Responsibilities

● Handle family law cases independently from initiation to resolution, utilizing technology to streamline processes and enhance client communication.

● Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondences with attention to detail and accuracy.

● Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court representation, ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficacy.

● Provide clear and precise advice to clients on complex legal matters, managing expectations and maintaining ongoing communications.

● Perform detailed legal research and analysis using the latest legal software and tools.

● Participate in client meetings, demonstrating strong client management and interpersonal skills.

● Engage directly with clients, providing exceptional service and developing solutions to their legal challenges.

● Work collaboratively with our dedicated staff to maintain the high standards of our practice.

● Manage caseload effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.

● Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, focusing on effective time management and organizational skills.

● Future responsibilities may include engaging in professional development and community legal education activities, showcasing leadership and commitment to the legal field.

Ideal Candidate

● Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to put clients at ease.

● Has strong writing and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

● Possesses a strong work ethic, willing to learn, and is committed to client service.

● Shows organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

● Enjoys substantial client interaction and is patient and understanding in client dealings.

● Willing to follow guidance from senior attorney on client matters.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

● Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required.

● Utah State bar admission is required.

● Experience in Family Law is preferred.

You may want to add Compensation and Benefits:

● $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.

● The firm has a 3% match on 401(k) contributions.

● Firm has a Flexible Time Off (FTO) Policy

● Bonus Structure beginning after six months.
