The product sells itself, and we don't ever like to be pushy with customers, so do not feel like this is a sales job! The Retail Assistant Manager will report to the Retail Manager and will take part in directing the daily operations of the retail store, communicating inventory needs, and working with the retail team to ensure completion of projects while supporting the team to maintain superior customer service!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in organizing, planning and implementing strategy for the retail operation to run smoothly
• Assume responsibility as point of contact when the retail manager is offsite
• Lead by example in providing exemplary customer service
• Coordinate store day to day operations
• Ensure store schedules and objectives are met by employees
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of company goals and growth. Proactively work to improve the retail operation and build upon current systems
• Calmly communicate in stressful situations and provide guidance to staff
• Be capable of having difficult conversations in order to maintain a healthy space for both staff & customers
• Foster a work environment of positivity & inclusivity

• Responsible for cash deposits/ withdrawals offsite 

• Update store displays based on season and inventory needs
• Availability to potentially work overtime when significant gaps in coverage occur
• Effectively communicate store needs to Retail Manager
• Coordinate and execute events, sales, and promotions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher 
• 4 years of customer service experience required
• 2 years of prior leadership experience
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems (experience with Lightspeed preferred)
• Superior communication skills
• Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities
• Detail oriented and organized
• Self motivated, problem solver, with forward thinking team mindset
