We are seeking a Marine Rigging Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the rigging on our customers vessels. Candidates should have a passion for the work that they do in order to provide the best quality product to our clients. Candidate should be a self-starter able to manage projects on their own and communicate directly with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair rigging systems.
• Be an active member of a team and work with peers.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of repair and/or additional items needed.
• Read schematics, and other technical documents and be able to explain their contents to others.
• Opens and closes building and ensures that all doors and windows are closed and securely locked prior to leaving.
• Inspects equipment and recommends repair or replacement action to customer.
• Prepares and maintains records to document work and repairs as requested.
• Complete work as efficently as possible, in a timely manner, in accordance with customer needs and company schedules.
• Make recommendations to improve profitability of repair jobs.
• Assure the proper diagnosis is done before work starts on a job.

Technicians are responsible for their own standard tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
