Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: PT AM/PM SITE MANAGER REPORTS TO: BUILDING PRINCIPAL
OVERTIME STATUS: PAY GRADE: GRANT FUNDED
Temporary, Grant-funded (34 Weeks)
Program Dates: August 2024-June 2025
$35.00/Hour - 20 Hours/Week
The selected candidate must be available for both morning and evening (T-TH) class hours from 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The selected candidate is responsible for the following:
Essential Duties:
This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects, and some light work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects; work requires stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. Some teaching specialties (i.e. music, art, physical education, etc.) may require hearing, vision, physical coordination and/or exertion and effort in excess of those listed above.
Education And Experience:The selected candidate must hold an advanced degree in Administration and Supervision PreK-12.

- Conducting any required adult education staffing evaluations/observations throughout the program year as assigned;
- Handling all adult education disciplinary matters;
- Planning/conducting monthly Staff Development/PLC activities no less than 1.5 hours;
- Working collaboratively with Regional Instructional Specialist and Coordinator of Adult & Alternative Education to meet local, state, and federal mandates pertaining to adult education in Virginia;
- Ordering any required and/or necessary student/program adult education resources;
- Obtaining the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE), CASAS, National External Diploma Program (NEDP) and PearsonVue testing certification within three weeks of hiring;
- Ensuring all adult education program data is disseminated to instrucational staff and documented properly in the LACES LMS data system within the 20th of each month; and
- Performing any other duties as deemed necessary by assigned administration and PPS Central Office administration.
