Summary: Join POS360 as a dynamic Deployment Field Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in deploying cutting-edge point-of-sale (POS) and IT solutions. Your mission will be to expertly install, configure, and maintain our proprietary POS systems at diverse customer sites. This role demands a blend of technical acumen and stellar customer service skills. You'll address complex technical challenges, ensure seamless network integration, and provide hands-on customer education. Be ready to engage in varied projects, sometimes requiring non-standard working hours or travel, as you contribute to our commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain POS systems and related hardware at client locations.
• Perform system upgrades and enhancements for optimized functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct network installations, including configuration of routers, switches, and ensuring robust security measures.
• Educate customers on system features and functionalities, enhancing their user experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Development, Logistics) to streamline deployment processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Remain adaptable to evolving responsibilities and project needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies during installations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support, networking, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, software, and POS technologies.
• Proficient in the use of various hand tools for installation and repair.
• Exceptional customer service skills with experience in client-facing roles.
• Eagerness to master new technologies and become a POS360 product expert.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, and to travel as needed.
• Physical ability to manage equipment, including lifting up to 35lbs solo and 75lbs with assistance.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work in various physical positions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
