Compensation:
- Salary $41,263 to $47,844 annually
- Up to $4.41/hr. health and welfare. Cash in Lieu of.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Manage infection control by preparing and disinfecting treatment rooms in accordance with current OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Perform office management tasks as required.
- Ensure the dental operatory and lab areas are maintained in a clean, orderly, and ready-for-use state.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Successful completion of a 2-year dental assistant program or a 2-year dental hygiene program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Accreditation, which includes at least 12 semester hours of relevant coursework.
- Certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) is required.
- 2-year experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to veterans.
