Role SummaryWe are looking for a professional responsible for developing and implementing predictive and preventative maintenance activities. This role aims to ensure reliability in equipment and processes, support safe and efficient production, and lead teams in maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide employees in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, adhering to codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Schedule and assign daily maintenance tasks while ensuring completion through effective follow-up.
  • Manage technician scheduling and maintain a database for equipment calibrations.
  • Lead teams in testing malfunctioning machinery to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Collaborate with operational team members to assess equipment and process deficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies, initiating reorders as needed.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to recommend operational improvements.
  • Ensure adequate training and motivation of maintenance associates for safe and effective maintenance practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance of a computerized system for tracking work orders and equipment history.
  • Track and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization and PM compliance.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proven technical supervisory experience in management.
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
  • Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment.
  • Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with digital controls troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Word and Excel.
