We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client in Dayton, OH, within the Manufacturing & Production industry.
This role involves providing technical support and specialist knowledge for electrical engineering standards, applications, and solutions to enhance production quality, efficiency, and volume. You will engage in complex electrical engineering activities to support projects and improve organizational capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
  • Support the development of effective approaches to identify, monitor, and implement electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures, and job aids.
  • Act as the technical authority from an electrical perspective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select and implement tools and methodologies for best practices.
  • Provide direct support and delivery of services for the organization.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of electrical engineering standards and deliverables in capital projects.
  • Oversee the tactical development and delivery of vision, direction, and strategy for electrical engineering.
  • Identify opportunities and bridge gaps in electrical engineering applications through auditing control mechanisms.
  • Propose and develop recommendations for performance improvement and acceptable risk tolerance.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Project management and process safety management experience.
  • Ten years of related work experience.
  • Background or experience in corn milling, oil and gas, petroleum, or mining industries.
Position Information
  • This position is posted internally and externally.
  • Relocation assistance will be provided.
  • Located in Dayton, Ohio.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend events and on-call duties.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: USD \(120,000 to \)130,000

Ideal CandidateWe Seek Someone With The Following Skills/background
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (could be science, mechanical, or chemical).
  • Industrial electrical background with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Continuous Improvement training or certification (Lean Six Sigma yellow, green, or black belt).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and knowledge or experience with SAP systems.
  • Experience working on Capital Projects is a plus.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can invest in team operations and demonstrate technical competence.
