DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our environmental team in a 100% remote capacity. This role focuses on providing environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must have FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS document experience included in their resume for submission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects from routing/siting to construction compliance.
  • Direct resource teams on environmental studies and permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Communicate with the public and stakeholders at hearings and meetings.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
  • Engage in business development and attend industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelines.
  • Expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications (optional).
Tools and Processes
  • Experience with MS Project, Teams for video meetings, and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly department meetings, and quarterly division meetings.
