Administrative Associate, Mental Health

Denton, TX

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and reschedule patients for Mental Health Providers assigned to the clinic and the Quit Smart program.
• Check in patients for the clinics.
• Check out patients/encounters for the clinics.
• Utilize the Insurance Capture Buffer to record Veteran insurance information.
• Place reminder calls to patients no later than one day prior to their appointment.
• Call patients to cancel and reschedule appointments when the provider is unable to see the patient.
• Receive and screen phone calls for the clinics and providers.
• Process all consults for the clinics.
• Provide support for the telemental health appointments including scheduling, set‐up.
• Participate in triaging secure messages.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Required education and experience demonstrating skills and abilities to perform duties ensuring smooth site operations.
• Must be a US Citizen.
