Potomac Partners & Associates LLC is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Bethesda, MD
Our publicly traded REIT is looking to hire a new Property Accountant. Due to the growth of the company and the addition of new properties being added to the portfolio, they have decided to add another Property Accountant to the team. This is a hybrid (2-3 days) position in Bethesda, MD.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Maintaining all responsibilities for property level financial close for the portfolio including:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyzing monthly financial results through the preparation and review of account details
- Researching problems or questions under the direction of the Property Accounting Manager or Asset Manager.
- Reviewing monthly financial reports and activity prepared by third party administrators
Ideally looking for 3 years of Property/Real Estate Accounting experience. CPA preferred (not required). Yardi, CAM, lease review experience required.
