The Company: Powder Mill Animal Hospital was established in 2017 and is a beautiful, well-equipped hospital in a fantastic setting. We are currently a progressive, three-doctor practice with efficient, friendly technicians servicing small animals.

The Position: We are seeking part-time and full-time Veterinary Technicians to help us continue to provide an exceptional level of care to our growing client base. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is willing to wear many hats. As we are a "paperless hospital", the candidate must be highly competent and excited to work with the latest technology and practice management software. Generous compensation and benefits packages!

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of tech or assistant experience; Certified Veterinary Technician is a plus
• High level of competence with Mac computers and digital medical records; experience with IDEXX Neo is a plus
• Able to assist doctors during exams, surgery and dental procedures
• Able to safely and effectively restrain dogs and cats, administer injections, take vital signs, perform venipuncture, among other assigned duties
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to the highest levels of client and patient care
• Exude positive energy and professionalism that welcomes our clients
• Must be willing to take on duties outside of normal vet tech responsibilities, which may include reception and social media
