Requirements Position: Prep Cook - Sky Lodge and Powder Landing Position Type: Full Time Year Round Performance Expectations:
Responsible for leading the prep kitchen team in daily tasks including opening, keeping team on task, and daily cleaning.
Works directly with F&B manager for staffing and scheduling needs
Help develop and keep current a flow plan that maximizes the use of the commissary kitchen for all outlets
Keep a current recipe book
Place orders through Nicholas when needed
Adhere to Powder Mountain's Policy and Procedures for attendance
Familiarity with and safe use of kitchen equipment: ovens, grills, fryers, knives
Exceptional customer service & communication skills
Plan and execute daily operations in a fast paced and always changing environment
Be able to keep a sanitary workstation
Prep and maintain a workstation
Reports directly to Food and Beverage Manager
Clean and tidy appearance
Team player!
Punctual
Adherence to early morning starts and potential late evenings
Current Utah Food Handlers Permit (required)
Age 16
2 years Kitchen Management
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable Transportation. FREE UTA Bus Pass to all Powder Mountain Team Members!
Ability to work 9am-4pmand/or 1pm-9pm
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills (knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc.)
Work Environment: Generally, in an indoor setting with occasional exposure to outdoor environment. While performing duties of this job, the team member will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. This position is occasionally expose to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.
