Power Labor Staffing is Hiring a Brick and Block Mason Near Akron, OH
Power Labor is now hiring experienced and motivated Commercial Masons in Akron with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience as a Bricklayer, Tender, and Operator.
Mason Laborers with a minimum of 1 year experience welcome to apply.
Duties
Including but not limited to installation of brick, block, layout patterns and foundations, build walls, leads, lines, corners, jambs, walkways, parking lots and more. Must have experience and capability of running a mixer, cutting and measuring materials. Must be able to set-up and tear-down scaffolding and clean up site throughout work completion.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, preferred
- Technical and/or Trade School Training, preferred
- Must be capable of lifting and moving 50 lbs.
- Must be able to crouch, bend, climb while working
- Must be okay with heights
- Minimum 3 years commercial construction experience for experienced Masons
- Minimum 1 year commercial experience for Mason Laborers
- Ideal candidates must be mechanically inclined and capable of taking direction and needing minimal supervision to accomplish tasks given
- Hired candidates must have proper PPE; boots, hard hat, high-viz shirt, high-viz vest
- Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Must have own tools for general tasks
- Ideal candidates are driven, motivated and come to work ready to get the job done!
Minimal phone usage during work hours
Maintains schedule; allotted two 15-minute breaks & standard lunch break
Employment Details
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm schedule
- Pay is based on experience; $21-$30/hour
- Benefits after 90 days of employment [401K, Dental, Medical, Vision]
- Full-time reliable employment and Holiday Pay
