The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the management and the planning of all relevant materials for assigned area locations. Planning includes working with branch managers to forecast and adjust inventory, transferring material from one branch to another, creating inventory related reports and disseminating to branches, and other replenishment duties as necessary. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and resolve branch inventory adjustments Conduct weekly cycle counts Audit current processes to ensure compliance Perform month end analysis reporting Service customers in a timely, organized manner Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of oilfield related materials is preferred 2 years’ experience in inventory management, replenishment planning and/or transacting in Syteline Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Outlook Well organized, analytical, results-oriented, and productive in a flexible environment as this person will be responsible for making tactical and strategic decisions to better our inventory performance Strong communication skills, both oral and written Willing to travel up to 50% including TX, WY, CO, UT, ND, MT, NM, but not limited to these states When not traveling, minimum of 50% of time will be in an office setting, not remotely Required to work both with a team and independently BENEFITS: Competitive Salary 401(k)/ Retirement savings Comprehensive Benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage) Career growth Friendly work environment Paid vacation/holidays At DistributionNOW we know that our greatest asset is our employees.
