SummaryCompletes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Job DutiesAccounts Payable:
- Validates and enters all vendor invoices for the Power Test-Sussex operation with high accuracy and on a timely basis.
- Creates and processes weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Reviews employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Responsible for verifying, reconciling and entering company credit card statements
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices and files with individual states.
- Maintains vendor W-9s, verifying on file, current and any1099 expectations in ERP system
- Create, file and mail 1099s
- Maintains historical records.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes company mission by completing related results as needed. This may include cross training for order processing, shipping logistics, accounts receivable, etc.
- 3 to 5 years of Experience in a Similar Role
- Associate’s degree in a related field (preferred)
