Vice President of Sales & Marketing

POWR2 is a global leader in the design, development, and supply of battery energy storage systems (BESS). Based in Bethel, CT, the company also has locations across Europe. POWR2 is a fast-growing, action-driven company looking for employees who want to join a team of top performers who are driving industry disruption and transformation.

Salary - $250,000-$275,000 USD, commission package TBD

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for all functions responsible for the generation of new revenue. Developing and implementing growth strategies, communications, and process across the marketing, product management, business development, and sales departments. Overall driving Battery Energy Storage (BESS) growth and success through various sectors, including power rental, construction, OEMs, Utilities, and Government.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Crafting revenue generation strategies harmonized with company growth objectives, spanning marketing, product management, business development, and sales domains.
  • Establishing precise targets and milestones for sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic imperatives.
  • Delineating industry and regional priorities based on discerned market dynamics, steering the company's focus with strategic acumen.
  • Overseeing the stewardship of the POWR2 brand and fostering its public resonance.
  • Spearheading the development and execution of product-centric marketing strategies for novel offerings.
  • Championing all business development endeavors across existing and prospective sectors and geographies.
  • Supervising end-to-end marketing-to-sales processes and initiatives to optimize conversions.
  • Directing sales efforts through the entirety of the sales cycle, including negotiation of high-level contracts beyond customary scopes.
  • Galvanizing specialized teams to pursue and secure substantial sales opportunities, exceeding standard deal magnitudes.
  • Anticipating industry disruptions and contingencies, proactively mitigating associated risks.
  • Cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, nurturing employees to unlock their full potential.
  • Furnishing leadership with invaluable industry insights and marketing perspectives to inform strategic decisions and actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership
  • Demonstrating ability to communicate, present and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
