Job Description

The Program Manager - AI Solutions will oversee the development and implementation of AI-based projects and initiatives within the organization. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge in artificial intelligence, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The Program Manager will ensure that AI projects align with the company’s strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for AI initiatives.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of AI projects, ensuring they meet the specified requirements and objectives.

Team Coordination and Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional project teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members to ensure project success and professional growth.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Gather and document stakeholder requirements and ensure they are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships to support project goals.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively resolve project issues and conflicts to keep projects on track.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Technical Oversight:

• Stay informed about the latest developments in AI technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure that projects adhere to best practices and leverage cutting-edge AI tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with technical experts to address complex technical challenges and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial tracking, and performance metrics, to senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Mandatory experience of at least 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on AI & data-driven projects.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and data science concepts.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
