Summary

The Radiologic Technician operates fluoroscopic imaging equipment

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with angiograms, thrombectomies, PD catheter insertions, etc.
• Positions and readies patient for C-arm procedures.
• Knowledge of sterile environment.
• Maintains weekly inventory and orders supplies.
• Performs and documents quality control on equipment according to manufacture guidelines or department protocols.
• Reports equipment problems/failures to Manager.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment with all the necessary supplies needed to perform studies and procedures in operating room.
• Maintains yearly competency, mandatory District education, professional certification, state licensure, and education requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills / Requirements:

• Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: Texas Medical Board, ARRT
• Special procedures
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
