Role and Responsibilities

Perform general Inventory Procurement/Purchasing duties and multiple other tasks required by our customer. Candidate must achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and accurate completion of requirements while conducting all activities with the utmost safety.

· Safely operate mobile equipment (Golf Cart) in manufacturing environment (heavy mobile equipment traffic).

· Daily/Weekly/Monthly Inventory, Forecast, Order, Receive and Disperse required material needed.

· Collect deliveries from receiving. Unload deliveries from cart and or pallet to stock in storage location managed by our program.

· Collect, review/verify, process and file all packing slips, bill of lading and C of A’s.

· Process Invoices through PPG’s CPU system.

· End of Month Inventory and Month in Close out through PPG’s CPU system.

· Handle routine office telephone correspondence with customer calling, suppliers, and corporate team.

· Participate in inventory audits with customer and suppliers to ensure replenishment, identification of material overstock and/or potential material shortage.

· Participate in weekly SOT (Safety Observation Tours), Complete Daily/Monthly Safety requirements, Customer internal audits and Chemical Review meetings.

· Update, review and report out monthly cost spend per area via email, SharePoint, BPD (Business Plan Development) Board and Cost Meeting.

· Liaison with customer and PPG.

· Assist Site Manager and/or other team members with other duties or special projects as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School but prefer two-year technical degree or equivalent experience. Some warehouse/manufacturing experience. Experience around paint and/or hazardous material is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively without close supervision.

Good math and analytical skills to identify and interpret data trends, product sales and ordering demand history streams to support customer to plan future order demand with greater accuracy. Self-motivation, Critical thinking, Advanced Excel skills, pro-active problem-solving skills, and ability to lift heavy objects (minimal).

Additional Notes

This position requires flexibility due to change in the daily work routine. Overtime may be required on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
