Director of Development Partnerships
Full-time (hybrid)
Hiring range: $170k - $195k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year giving strategy focused on building, growing and diversifying PPMM’s Corporate Giving Program.
Ensure program partners are aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
Identify, solicit, and secure corporate gifts.
Partner with PPMM Marketing & Communications to develop customized proposals, presentation and other engagement collateral for potential corporate donors.
Work closely with the CDO and other Development leaders to integrate Corporate Giving into the broader fundraising strategy, including events such as the Peninsula Breakfast.
Hire, lead and mentor a Development grant writer, providing guidance and support to achieve corporate giving goals. Oversee PPMM’s strategic grants consultant.
Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to develop and submit competitive proposals, reports, budgets and supporting materials in support of expanding PPMM’s access to funding.
Lead the cultivation, stewardship, solicitation and prospecting of corporate and other institutional funders in a way that results in a strategic and balanced portfolio of appropriate and profitable partnerships for the organization
Work directly with the CDO and CEO to activate corporate donors and institutional funders within their network and portfolios.
Consistently use Salesforce to track pertinent donor and prospect information.
Monitor and provide regular updates to leadership and the development team regarding strategies, activities, prospects, progress and revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree with seven to ten years of experience developing and maintaining strategic, high level corporate and institutional partnerships.
A track record of successfully identifying, soliciting, and securing multiple six-figure corporate gifts annually
Strong commitment to the mission, policies, goals, and values of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte
A commitment to creating an inclusive, equitable work space, as well as demonstrated ability to work with individuals with diverse lived experiences and backgrounds
Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences on complex issues
Ability to adapt to changing work environments and lead the team and partners through challenging transitions.
Proven abilities to effectively and efficiently project manage and collaborate with senior leaders across departments and organizations
Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge of and experience with project management and fundraising tools and databases preferred, including Salesforce, Asana, and Microsoft Office suite
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
