Job Description:

PPSI is a growing electronics manufacturing company in southwest Houston seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily operations in our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating receiving, inventory management, picking, order management/kitting, and shipping activities. This role requires a strong leader who can maintain high standards of safety, work quality, accountability, and efficiency within the team. 

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of receiving, inventory management, picking, order mgmt/kitting and shipping.
• Manage and maintain a daily status report for the warehouse with production and purchasing.
• Work with leadership to establish goals for the team and work to continually improve metrics related to accuracy and program completeness.
• Lead by example; hold a high standard for safety, high work quality, accountability, and efficiency within the team.
• Partner with cross functional teams to solve problems.
• Responsible for Warehouse performance metrics and driving change to support company goals.
• Accurate physical inventory and annual cycle counts.
• Follow 6S principles to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications :

• 4 years of previous Warehouse Lead/Supervision experience, complex or contract manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong inventory control, planning and logistics experience.
• Must share PPSI’s core values of Integrity, Communication, Initiative, Analysis, Reliability, and Execution.
• Must have experience in Microsoft or Google product suites and be PROFICIENT in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100D Quality Standards.
• Ability to analyze information, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communicator; must be able to give clear direction to team members daily and concise information to stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for warehouse work.
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment. Forklift Certified is a plus.
