Atlantic Health System is Seeking a General Surgeon in Sussex County, New Jersey Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an additional General Surgeon to join Surgical Associates of Sussex County. The immediate team consists of a dynamic group of experienced board-certified surgeons who are experts in many types of surgeries, from in-office procedures to minimally invasive procedures using robotic technology.
This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled general surgeon to join a well-established and growing practice with a robust staff. The ideal candidate should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of general surgery including laparoscopic cases. The position will be on staff at both Newton and Hackettstown Medical Centers. In addition to general surgery, there is an opportunity to build a subspecialized practice (e.g., bariatrics, endocrine, etc.). A flexible Monday-Friday schedule and shared call pool set a strong foundation for better work life balance.
Sussex County, NJ, located approximately 60 miles from NYC, combines convenient access to the city with abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation in its natural surroundings.

- BE/BC in General Surgery
- Minimum of 2 years of experience ideal
- Experience in laparoscopic procedures is required
- Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
