Practice Internal Medicine with flexibility!LocationsMyMichigan Health Park Harrison is a medical outpatient facility with a full range of outpatient services including primary care, laboratory and rehabilitation services, and nutrition and diabetes counseling.
MyMichigan Medical Center Mt. Pleasant is the medical center of the future, conveniently located on M-20 near I-127.
MyMichigan Medical Center Sault is a 49-bed hospital located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and specializing in high-quality rural medicine.
RequirementsMyMichigan Health, an affiliate of Michigan Medicine, the health care division of the University of Michigan, has outstanding opportunities for Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician in middle and northern Michigan. The MD/DO must be board certified or board eligible.
Patient and Procedure MixAll aspects of primary care for an adult population, including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in an outpatient setting; preparing and reviewing patient charts; prescribing medications; performing a balance of outpatient and inpatient procedures and surgeries; and providing appropriate follow-up after discharge.
Communities ServedHarrison, located in Clare county, is a quiet, peaceful community with Irish heritage. It’s both a welcome retreat and home. All year long the city is known as the “Gateway to the North.” It’s a place where adventure and relaxation meet. Light industry and tourism form the business base. Both primary and secondary schools offer the closeness and support that only a small community can provide. Mid-Michigan Community College in Harrison is just north of the city. Central Michigan University is just 15 minutes south of Clare in Mount Pleasant.
Mt. Pleasant offers the buzz of college-town activity with Midwest hometown charm. Located an hour north of Lansing, Mt. Pleasant has a population of 54,000 (including students). The city is home to Central Michigan University (CMU), the Chippewa Indian tribe and the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. Mt.
