McLaren Port Huron is recruiting a Psychiatrist for a hospital-based position to provide inpatient care for our 23 bed adult unit. The selected candidate will join an experienced, board certified Psychiatrist providing evaluation, supervision, and nonmedical care for patients. Average daily census of 18 with a 3-day average length of stay.
The mental health unit has a multidisciplinary team of caregivers which consists of RN’s, 4 social workers, occupational and recreational therapists, and mental health technicians. St. Clair County Community Mental Health rounds daily to assist in discharge and planning. Qualified candidates will be BE/BC in Psychiatry. Additional highlights include:
