Qualified Candidates:
Job Summary:HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a trauma surgeon for their Level II trauma center in Sanford, FL
Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified by the ABS with trauma/surgical critical care fellowship
- 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p / 7p-7a
- Incoming surgeon will be the 6th trauma surgeon to round out the group
- Robust step-down unit
- ATLS required
- Employment model with full health benefits and 401K with employer match
- Paid malpractice and CME allowance
- 221-bed acute care hospital
- State verified Level II trauma center
- 12-hour primary in-house coverage plus 12-hour secondary call from home with 30-min response (rarely called in)
- Emergency general surgery & trauma call
- 24/7 on-call neurosurgeons
- 24/7 on-site anesthesia, surgical services team & trauma-trained nurses
- HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed, Level 2 trauma center
- Established in 1982, we are the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia
- Other specialized services including orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, and complete imaging services.
