Transportation Supervisor position is available at PFD Supply, a division of Prairie Farms Dairy. We are a food distribution facility for various concepts. This position will provide support to the Transportation Manager in the day-to-day operations of the transportation department. The Transportation Supervisor will directly and indirectly supervise multiple drivers, schedule drivers in compliance with company rules and DOT regulations, utilize staff and equipment to maintain efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall operational profitability. Must also promote safety initiatives, implement change, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must also have the desire to learn, grow and develop into a strong leader.
Qualified applicants must have a current Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) license. Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is required. Basic computer skills and intermediate MS Word and Excel experience is required. Prior transportation or food distribution management experience a plus.
