POSITION :
Responsible for transporting product to customers in such a way that maintains all quality and food safety requirements.
The Delivery Driver is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations in the Prairie Farms Inc - Shullsburg Creamery.
Position includes working with the warehouse team for load management and dispatchers on assignments. Also includes working independently and as a team player proactively for achieving common business goals.
As with all positions at Prairie farms to include all food safety and quality requirements.
SCHEDULE :
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES :
This over-the-road truck driving position encompasses designated and predetermined routes and stops in between delivering product to additional warehouse and distribution points throughout the area.
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITES :
General Qualifications include, but are not limited to :
Shall comply with all SQF Program requirements.
Shall comply with all GMP Requirements.
Shall comply with all Safety Rules and Policies.
Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of creamery products and materials.
Perform required before-, during- and after-operation user maintenance and provide required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Fill out all required paper work for accurate bookkeeping and inventory.
Clean out your truck at the end of your route each week to ensure it is ready for the warehouse team to fill.
Treat all each other with respect and dignity.
Make sure that personal appearance reflects the company in a positive manner.
Report all areas of improvement to leadership to help us grow and understand change takes time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class A CDL license.
Able to lift at least a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to exhibit a positive image and professionalism to customers.
